The Smooth Groove is an energetic Sydney based band that is suitable for any event: corporate entertainment, a funky dance band for your party or wedding entertainment. The Smooth Groove are a fantastic musical outfit, the dance band line up are a high energy, amazing dance band with a lighting show and choreographed horn section dance moves. We get you involved, we entertain you and most of all we want you to have fun, sing and dance along with us.
Our expert professional musicians have played with The Rolling Stones and Human Nature at Wembley Stadium, The Basement and The Sydney Superdome.
All of our line ups are filled with movement and energy which makes us one of Sydney's most sort after bands. The Smooth Grove has performed as a covers band for several years and we have developed a long list of cover songs that will keep your guests on the dance floor all night long.
Our band members experience includes:
- Professional vocalists & musicians who have performed with The Rolling Stones, Human Nature, Guy Sebastian at venues: Wembley Stadium, The Basement, The QVB Tea Rooms and The Sydney Superdome.
- The band members have also played at many well known Sydney Nightclubs including: The Basement, Blue Note, The Harbourside Brasserie, The Golden Sheaf and The Opera Bar (Sydney Opera House).
The Smooth Groove experience:
- Performed at over 1000 Weddings in locations from Hunter Valley wineries to Fort Denison in Sydney Harbour.
- Providing theme night entertainment for advertising agencies including Singleton Ogilvy & Mather and The Pudding Factory.
- Residencies at 5 star hotel’s, resorts and nightclub venues including The Hilton Marble Bar.
- Live play ons and offs for award nights, TV and presentation ceremonies.
- Live performances on Channels 7,9 and 10 and Foxtel.
- We are an experienced corporate entertainment band with hundreds of well known brands as Smooth Groove clients including: Canon, Cadburys, Toyota, Cumberland Newspapers, Royal North Shore Hospital, ING and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
